We analysed the uncorrected visual acuity of 7 high-volume laser eye surgeons before and in the first year after the introduction of IBRA refractive services. In total, 16,502 treatments were analysed before using IBRA, and 31,108 treatments with the use of IBRA.

The average UDVA at 1 month was 0.08 LogMAR before the use of IBRA, and 0.03 LogMAR with IBRA (p=0.021). The change showed a significant improvement of the UDVA by half a Snellen line.
